Delta Brainwave Frequencies

Delta brain waves are the slowest among all brainwave frequencies. Delta brainwaves range from 0 Hz to 4 hz in frequency, have their origin in the right hemisphere and are spread out in all parts of the brain. Being the slowest frequency, Delta is associated with a decreased sense of self awareness, which in turn implies greater empathy and a strong connection with the deepest parts of our unconscious mind.

More About Delta Brainwaves

Experience Profound States of Deep Delta Meditation Through Delta Brain Waves Music

Think of all the brainwaves’ frequency range as a measurement of the activity going on inside your brain. When your brain is at its most active (Gamma) you are usually awake and in connection with your external reality, unaware of hidden connections that you may have with everything and everyone else.

When your brain is at your most passive (Delta) you are usually in a dreamless sleep, connected to the universe around you. Since this happens when you are in your deepest sleep, you rarely recall any of that. But were you able to consciously access Delta, then you’d experience the connection and feel part of the universe around you. As it happens with the other brainwave patterns, there are also some great benefits associated with a healthy Delta brainwave activity.

Benefits of Delta Brainwave Entrainment

1. Anti-Aging Effect

It is during your dreamless sleep (such as what can be experienced with sleep hypnosis) when your body is able to recover and recover better from all your daily activities. It renews itself, to a large extent because Delta brainwaves stimulate the release of anti-aging hormones, such as Melatonin.

2. Extreme Empathy

If it’s easy for you to read other people’s emotions and feelings, like magic, if you just ‘sense’ it, then you probably have more Delta than ordinary people.

3. Intense Bliss

Traditional wisdom has associated the Delta brainwave pattern with a feeling of extreme bliss. Advanced meditators and yogi masters who can access the Delta mode at will, radiate happiness and peace in such a way that it is almost contagious.

4. Deep Relaxation

When Delta brainwaves are dominant, you experience the most relaxing sensations, to the point that you feel as though you were detached from your body.

5. Superb Intuition

Just as it helps you feel connected to the people around you, Delta also helps you read the world around you at an unconscious level. So if you’ve ever had gut feelings and followed them through, that was you Delta brainwave activity lighting the way.

6. Spiritual Connection

Some people believe the Delta brainwave activity is instrumental to connect our body and soul with a universal life energy, a higher power which we are really difficult to comprehend.

7. Boosted Immune System

Delta brainwaves help your body physically and emotionally (healing the inner child)and rejuvenate, eliminating stress and its harmful effects on your body.

8. Mystical Experiences

A host of paranormal phenomena are related to increased brainwave activity. There is evidence that people who experience out-of-body-experiences, astral travel and the like, tend to have them when their Delta level is well above average.

It’s been said by many people that we use just a fraction of our brain’s potential. Science has been able to come up with answers to the most pressing questions regarding how our brain works, but there are still many left unanswered. It doesn’t help much when some of the findings are considered too extreme and when skepticism prevails over evidence, however weak this may be. Then again, it is always easier to stick with what you’ve always thought is true. That being said, Delta and Theta brainwaves are like doors to another dimension unfamiliar to us.

The Delta Brainwave State and the Effects of Music for Delta Brain Wave Sleep Patterns

The Delta brainwave state can be difficult to achieve without having years of meditation techniques under your belt. The delta brainwave state operates at between 0.3Hz – 4Hz and is usually occurs in deep dreamless sleep. However some people can now go into these deep meditative states at will with the practice of meditation. The benefits are enormous as your body can get a deep rest in the space of 20 – 30 minutes and if practiced twice per day you will have much more energy, be more alert, much more focused and your body will not need nearly as much sleep

When you are sleeping the body is repairing itself which is now recognized as the reason for sleep. people’s search to heal their bodies and their minds have led them to discover something called binaural beats, or brainwave entrainment, which can produce a tone which matches the delta brainwave state.

When the delta producing binaural beats are listened to with a pair of headphones it will take around 8 minutes for your brainwaves to reach the desired delta brainwave state. with more and more use of the binaural beats you brain becomes accustomed to them and effectively blocks out the effect, however your brain will have already adjusted to delta brainwave states and it will be much easier in life to reach them without the use of binaural beats.

Using Delta Frequency Binaural Beats and Delta Waves for Sleep

If you are going to use binaural beats to reach a deep state of delta I would suggest using a program which brings you gradually down from a lower delta state to a deep delta state. So, for example the first week you would use a binaural beat to induce 4Hz, the week after you would use 3Hz and do this for 5 – 6 weeks until your brain can handle a 0.3Hz binaural beat.

You should start to see the benefits of binaural beats after a few hours, you will feel much more relaxed. however you will see the real benefits in subtle ways, you will be more productive, need less sleep, be much more energized and be more focused in your day to day life.

There are more and more scientific studies being done every day on the beneficial effects of binaural beats and particularly delta brainwave states.Thousands of people who have benefited from using this type of technology. This technology is finally coming to the forefront and the benefits you will experience when using them are enormous.
