There are numerous meditation techniques. Some focus upon awareness, others upon sensations, others upon mindfulness, and others attempt to release the conscious mind's connection to the body. In the context of my practice, I focus upon meditation techniques designed to observe one's self and let go. This is is a process that I liken to 'emptying the cup'. All day long you are bombarded by information, when you focus internally long enough the thoughts calm and your body relaxes.

Meditation began way back in the human society and has become a footstool in changing life for the best. For all those years, the practice has seen various changes and growth. This does not mean that the practice has deviated from its core values. Instead, it has expanded into new cultures.
